Started Career as a .Net Developer but because of my interest in databases moved to  Database Developer\Production Support DBA role. Currently I am working as an Enterprise Application\Production Support DBA \ Architect at MNC for SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle. Extensive experience in maintenance and administration of databases, configuration of SQL Servers on standalone and clusters, disaster recovery, Performance Tuning, and database security from SQL Server 7.0 to 2012 and other tools like Litespeed, TSM, TDPSQL, Performance Dashboard, SCOM, Veritas. Extensive experience in designing BI Solution using SSIS and SSRS and delivered multiple projects. I love to work on complex issues especially Performance and Troubleshooting.

During my professional journey I worked for various clients like HCL,VOLVO IT, NOBEL BIOCARE, ASSA ABLOY, J&J on different roles

What I am doing right now ?

Currently I am Enterprise Application ​and Production Support DBA \Architect for SharePoint Platform, Client Intelligence Applications and Collaboration & Content Management

  • Managing Linux and Windows Servers along with MS SQL Server and MYSQL
  • Solution Architecture & Design
  • Develop Architecture and Database Design concepts in support of Proof-of-Concept
  • Integration & Automation
  • Implement physical data model
  • Gather and report out on capacity and performance metrics
  • SQL Server Consolidation
  • Provide technical expertise for the planning, analysis, design, implementation and  maintenance
  • Prepare a road map and provide consulting for application\database migration to cloud solutions
  • Design and Develop disaster recovery and fail- over plans
  • Work with customers, vendors and support staff on the technical planning, new capability testing, operational maintenance and troubleshooting of SQL code
  • Maintain security controls for databases
  • Manage all the Database and monitoring related Tools across the Environment like Foglight, spotlight, SCOM
